Seadrill is a deepwater drilling contractor that provides drilling services to the oil and gas industry. It is incorporated in Bermuda and managed from London. Seadrill has operations in Angola, Brunei, the Republic of Congo, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Norway, Thailand, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, UAE, United States and the United Kingdom.
At Seadrill we provided support to the IT function providing stability and improvement to the technology supporting the HR function. Working closely with stakeholders at all levels within Seadrill both in the UK and globally, some of our deliverables included:
- Devising and delivering HRIS strategy for global HR applications
- Enhance existing application footprint across the Seadrill HRlandscape
- Roll out of global IPAD functionality for training and assessments, including user adoption and communication plan
- Advising and inputting to strategic plans of the ISIT practice
- Roll out of global payroll solution over 10 countries
- Managed transfer from decentralised function to a shared service centre
- Stakeholder management at SVP and HRD level globally
- Management of integration between cloud and on premise applications
- Management of third parties including contract staff/
